Hi. I'm new here.
I'm trying to make ANSYS analysis of heating LPG (propane) tank. Temperature of tank and pressure of propane is what I need as a effect of simulation. I've made it in fluent and CFX for compare. Temperature of tank seems to be right but pressure of propane is not growing. I need help in three things: 1. Is it better to do this in fluent or CFX ? 2. How to make propane in tank as gas and liquid phase ? 3. Why pressure of propane is not growing ? Could someone help me please ? |

1. I can't really think of anything that can be done in CFX that Fluent can't do better.
2. Look into the multiphase simulation options. Maybe do the tutorial. 3. The pressure is controlled entirely by your equation of state so make sure you are using the right one. |
