Hi guys,
I am doing some studies on CHT in facades. Therefore I am monitoring surface heat transfer coefficient at some surfaces (see attachment). In the attachmant there is a big vertex of the coefficient. During the simulations many of those vertexes have occured (the picture shows only one) and I am wondering why. My first idea was poor meshing in the region of convective heat transfer. y+ values are below 1 and also other quality parameters seem ok in my opinion. Also with other B.C. (e.g. temperatures, irradiation) I was not facing this problems. Also obtaining energy balance in this particular setup is a problem. your professional view would be highly appriciated. Regards CHris |
