rsa is on a distinguished road
I have a case where the outer wall of the domain is in contact with the room temperature air. as a boundary condition for this wall I have only used convection where heat transfer coefficient is set to 200 and free stream T to 300 K. Then in the monitor section, I have defined the following monitor:
Report Type: Vertex Avg
Field Variable: Wall Fluxes -> Surface Heat Transfer Coef.

and I have plotted this against "Flow Time". I noticed two things:
1- the magnitude of the "Surface Heat Transfer Coef." is NEGATIVE all the time (the wall initial temperature is 1273 K)
2- the "Surface Heat Transfer Coef." is NOT constant!!! while as I said, in the boundary condition for this wall I have used a constant Heat Transfer Coefficient!

the negative value I imagine is due to the fact that the wall is loosing energy to free stream but can anyone tells me why the Surface Heat Tansfer Coef." monitor is not constant!!!
