First of all I'd like to appreciate everyone's attention to my threads.

I'm using the DPM model for 2D fluidization modelling. (I think it's better to call it pesudo-3D since the DPM particles are treated as spheres rather than cylinders)
However, the depth is automatically set to 1 meter on the depth (i.e., the 3rd dimension), for which I have to track plenty particles in a 2D simulation.
-.-|| I'm afraid I may have to go to real 3D simulation with the new boundarys set to Periodic Conditions, but ...

Is there any access to changing the depth of the computational region in a 2D simulation?

In the reference values, there is a depth. But I don't get how this would change anything. Anyway, the option is there if you want to change it.

You are right: it seems not change anything in the simulation, and, um, the only difference is in the statistical output.

... Yep simulation is always time-consuming.. I'd be patiently waiting for my results
