Illmatic is on a distinguished road
Hi,

I want to run a calculation of a channel, where I connected the inlet and the outlet periodically. This way I want to calculate the velocity profile of the fully developed flow. I set up my inlet and outlet in the meshing tool to have matching meshes and defined in Fluent the mass flow at the periodic interface.

However if I try to run my calculation Fluent tells me, that I don't have an inlet and an outlet and just calculates a zero solution.

Where did I go wrong with my approach and how can I fix it?

Thanks in advance!
