Hi all
I'm simulating oil & water separation in a hydrophilic baffle media. The water is dispersed in oil with droplet diameter of 100 micrometer.
I tried mixture model but it cant simulate the effect of hydrophilic media
I tried VOF model with wall adhesion on but the VOF can simulate dispersed water droplet correctly(as you know VOF model is used for completely immersible fluids not dispersed fluids)
but I want to study the hydrophilic baffles in the vessel so I selected eulerian model with wall adhesion on and contact angle 30' but the results didnt mach the experimental data
what should I do to make the baffles (walls) more hydrophilic to separate more water in baffles
many many thanks
