Fine mesh vs coarse mesh

Hello.I am performing a steady state simulation of flow past an object for my thesis.It involves turbulent in-compressible flow.Which mesh(relevance centre:fine or relevance centre:coarsh)would be more suitable to get accurate results without having to run the simulation for a very long time?
