algoncal is on a distinguished road
Hello, I'm a student who is performing a CFD study using ANSYS Fluent about a stirred tank.

I'm trying to use sliding mesh method (but I don't know if MRF could work better) due to I want to simulate velocity distribution in order to change impeller geometry and determinate its possition inside the tank. I am also interested in moments in order to know power.

I don't know if I have enough mesh quality since I am using ANSYS academics and it is a huge tank (3x2 meters).. My residuals are a bit higher than 1e-03.

How much time should i expect convergence? And how many cells would provide a reasonable solution?

Thanks!

PD:My geometry and velocity cotour
