Hi Every one,
So i was working on this project where a cube is embedded with 6 cylinders.
the dimension of a cube is 500x500x500 micrones
And the cylinder be 5 micrones in dia and atleast 200 micrones long in any of the one dimension.
So i want to make 2 opposite face of a cube periodic bc. ((Opposite face not containing cyinders)). Any 2 opposite face will do.
I guess i did match control mesh alright of opposite faces but when i enter the periodic bc codes on fluent it reads
Error: Failed to make zones periodic.
Error Object: #f

I assigned the coordinate system on the center of the cube any my cylinder are in opposite y-direction.
And for the mesh match control i have used:
Transformation- cyclic
axis of rotation-co ordinate system
