workbench without tools

Hello,

I don't know if I'm in the right forum and excuse me if it's the case.

I installed Ansys 17.2 yesterday, when I open workbench, there isn't tools inside the toolbox. So I open the toolbox customize but when I select a tool like fluent for example, fluent stay in the customize box and there is nothing inside the toolbox.

Someone know why and how I can resolve this problem?

Did you install the tools?

If I understood correctly you have an empty Toolbox window on the left side of the workbench window. Do you see a blue "View All / Customize" text next to a blue funnel on the bottom panel? If you would click it there should be a list of available programs - i.e. tools - to choose from. You should be able to simply choose your preferable tools by checking the programs. Second thing you could try is to tick the choice Toolbox (or Toolbox customization) from the drop-down menu "Tools".

If you can't find your programs from there, I would suggest you to reinstall the program and double check that the install file has all the necessary programs.
