Hi
I am new to ANSYS Fluent and trying to solve a simple problem using Fluent. I have added the problem description in the attachment section. After setting up the geometry, meshing and model setup, when i hit the CHECK CASE button before the Run Calculations it pops up with this message. "Apply an axis boundary on the centerline (x-axis)" figure is also attached showing this message. i have applied the centerline boundary condition then why it is prompting me again for the this condition. and when i start calculation it stops with an error "Divergence detected in AMG solver: x-momentum" Last edited by ahmadijaz; June 4, 2017 at 05:29. if your using a symmetry condition to the centerline, you need to put it in x axis and before run the simulation in general conditions make a check for the mesh.

Judging from what you want to do, I don't think you need to actually draw the centerline at all. I would just not draw it, or make the boundary condition for it "interior".

You just need half of your domain, and then one side will be your axis, that you apply your boundary condition.
