Hi. I'm trying to solve a flapping wing using FLUENT but there's a problem I'm trying to solve for a week! I am using an interface to guarantee that there will not be a reduction in the mesh quality but the interface shows discontinuities in the velocity and pressure fields, as shown in the attached file. I personally think this happens due to mass flow conservation, but is there any way to fix this?

Thanks in advance,

Emanuel

Found a solution. Seems that the root's problem was the Transient Formulation. A second order implicit method was making the result unstable. I'm using now the first order implicit with a reduced time step.
