Hi all
I want to simulate liquid slosh in a cylindrical half-filled tank subjected to external acceleration excitation and I need to calculate slosh forces and moments. I have a 2-phase (water + air) model using VOF approach and I need to calculate forces by integration of pressure over the wetted area of the tank wall. Can anybody help me with this calculation? I mean how can I set fluent to calculate this? Do I need to use a UDF for it and if any UDF is needed what is the appropriate macro?
Kindly help

Hello,

Thank you.
I found 2 ways to calculate forces and moments:
1- Using an " execute at the end" macro.
2.Using Lift( or Drag) and Moment monitoring.

Would you please explain how to use UDS? Or, If you know a better way please tell me.

Best,
