Hello, I am working on erosion in pipeline using DPM model. When i increase the flow rate of the injection, the particle track will be disturbed and the particle did not hit the wall where it is supposed to hit.

Here is the image of the particle track https://imgur.com/a/maRak

What is your wall reflection polynomial?

When I use smaller flowrate, i will get this flow. However the flowrate used is very small which is not relevant to the industry. Can you share the input summary with me?

You can use the Mazumder refletion coefficents, in the boudry conditions, click on wall then DPM, you will see the refelection coefficent intput as a angle function.

I have added a PDF which might help, also search "Mazumder u-bend tutorial michigan university" into google and you will see step by step guide.

Thank you for the complete tutorial. It is working now. Do you have any tutorial for the post processing? Especially on how to create the graph of impact angle vs erosion rate

I wish I did I need this for my own project report aswell .

I'm trying to plot erosion rate along the outer elbow mid plane with degrees 0-90 on the x-axis.

You know how to do this?
