Change wall treatment model for energy equation ?

Hi all,
I am doing a CHT simulation where the flow equations are solved separately from the energy one. I use k-e model for the turbulence with Enhanced Wall Treatment. My temperature results end up in a 30 degrees difference from the experimental results. Then I tried to keep the same results for the flow field (solution obtained with Enhanced Wall Treatment) and run the energy simulation with a Standard Wall Function for the wall treatment. The temperature difference now is 15 degrees. My question is, is the change of the model for the energy equation an acceptable practice? Can my results be considered numerically "ok". Thank you in advance, Alex. |

Anyone with some experience or more in depth knowledge on CHT simulations? |
