So I have my simulations all set up but now I am having problems with figuring out how to export the values shown in the plot which is shown inside the Graphics window after running the simulation in the Solver. I want to export these variables so that I can plot them against the literature. Currently I am doing flow around a rotating cylinder, symmetric walls and with with the Re # and Velocity on a 1:1 basis.
Anyone have any ideas? Any other input is also greatly appreciated! |

Have you tried creating a report or a monitor?

Hi,
try this command /solve/monitors/force/set-drag-monitor cd-1 y (1 2 3 4 5) y y "monitor_drag.out" n n 1 0 0) with (1 2 3 4 5) is your surfaces of interest for computing drag and lift coefficients. Fanch |
