Hi. I am doing my thesis On Modal Flows of Fluid Flows. I have run my simulation for cylinder 2D in ANSYS 17.1 with a reynolds number of 80. The Von Karman vortices are developed which need to be analysed in MATLAB for its energy nodes and eigen vectors.
My problem is that I have read a lot of articles regarding POD which they use the snapshot method. I tried exporting my data as ASCII from ANSYS which gives me the nodes with X and Y coordinates along with its Velocities. I am just wondering how do I export my data for each second into MATLAB which makes sense like a snapshot method. I have spent some time on the forum but just getting lost. Please need help urgently. |
