Hello,

I have been trying to run a 3D model representing the evaporation in a heat pipe with a return line inside the pipe.
The suggestion to create a vortex promoter was to add a helical spring in the pipe.
Experimentally heat extracted from the pipe with the spring was higher than without the spring.

Now computationally, the solution always diverges!!
I will list the steps I followed and would appreciate it if you can point out a possible error.

Meshing:
The pipe is 23 mm long, elements reached 1 mill, and want to limit it to that since my computer is not super!
However, metrics are good.

Model setup:

- Multiphysics, Eulerian evaporation-condensation model/ I also tried Boiling model
-Viscosity, k-eps, Lee, Implicit / I also tried k-omega

Boundary conditions:
-Inner wall Temp 103 degrees(saturation)
-Outer wall Temp 300 degrees
-Pressure Inlet 13 kPa
-Pressure Outlet 11 kPa

Solution trials:
- simple
-coupled courant 0.9, 1, 5, default 200
-coupled pseudo transient
URF reduced

-initialization both hybrid and standard

and the list of attempts goes on!

I attache the geometry which I really think might be a problem

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance
