Is it possible to convert a 3D mesh to a 2D mesh in Ansys Fluent? The mesh is done is converted from OpenFOAM (it is 3D mesh) how can I use this mesh to make a simulation in 2D (xy directions only and ignoring the z direction)?

P.S: I want to know if this is possible without changing the mesh in another software

Regards
