Hello Everyone,
I am working on the Simulation of Phase Change material. The Dimension of PCM is 350*150*25 mm3. I would like to know how can i read the values of temperature and Export that in Excel sheet? The thermocouple is located at a distance of 100mm from the bottom and 12.5 mm in the middle of z-direction and 40mm drilled in the x-direction. For example: It's like i have a thermocouple and i need the temperature values for every second and Export it in Excel sheet. How can i do this in fluent. I have attached the Image file. I hope someone will help me. |

In the ribbon go to post-processing, surface, create, and choose point.
Then in the left-hand tree and create a surface report/monitor. It depends which version you have but you want a monitor. In newer versions (18 and newer) you must create a report before you can create the monitor. You can use face/vertex max/min/average it doesn't matter since you only have 1 point. And choose get data every time-step and give it a filename.' This outputs to a plain text file. Which you can read into excel easily using the import data wizard in excel. |
