I want to model the channel flow ,but with time passing, it cant be turblence but laminar . Here is my steps in modeling:
1.Get the convergence of rans steady results 2.type init-instantaneous-vel to get an initial field of les 3.switch to les model and carry on simulating but there will be a laminar flow. if i can use a udf to initialize a filed without Rans results?,could anyone send me a udf about that? thanks! |

What's your inlet boundary condition? Check it. Is it a laminar inlet?
