Hello!

I want to know if there is a possibility to inject particles in a time step different of the flow time step.
I am using an unsteady solver with an unsteady tracking scheme with one way coupling.

Thanks in advance!

please I need help!!
when I enable unsteady tracking with the transient simulation, the part in which I can insert the particle time the injection is disabled as shown in the figure below.

If anyone can help me, I will be grateful.

Your question is not really clear to me, not either the kind of simulation you need to run.
Actually the answer would depend on what you're trying to do. Are you running a two-way coupling calculation?

Thanks for relpy!
No I am running a one one coupling calculation, I want to inject particles in a time step different of the time step of the transient flow. Is that possible in Fluent?

You can choose the when to start the injection of particles from the injection menu, if it is your question.
