Hi guys,
I am trying to simulate flow over a heated equilateral triangle at Re 500 in fluent. Is using laminar unsteady model for this study correct? Regards, Ujjwal Last edited by ujjwalmohanty; May 7, 2019 at 06:13. Reason: adding tags |

It is quite difficult to say if such geometry generates large turbulence in the separation region. Try a laminar setting using a 2D geometry and then check the same solution in a 3D gemoetry, for example using periodic conditions in the spanwise direction. Compare the solution to first assess if 3D effects are relevant or not. |
