I read many discussions in this forum on using if statement by expressing if(condition, true, false), but I have no idea whether it can be used on Fluent or not.
Can I also use this if statement in Fluent CFD Post Expressions?
------edit:
It turns out that the statement works in Fluent CFD Post.
However, I have difficulties in expressing the statement:
Quote:
if(2.38*(Clothing Temperature-Temperature/(1[K]))^.25 > 12.1*sqrt(Velocity/(1[m s^-1])), 2.38*(Clothing Temperature-Temperature/(1[K]))^.25, 12.1*sqrt(Velocity)/(1[m s^-1]))
|
The expression above has error:
Quote:
ERROR
Error in 'if' statement at position 1. The 'true' and 'false' expressions have inconsistent dimensions.

I have deleted both the dimension for temperature and velocity on the expression above but the error said that it still has inconsistent dimension. The expression 'Clothing Temperature' is dimensionless.
Can anyone help?
