Dear connections,

I did flow analysis of cutting tool, please find attached images. the fluid(water) is coming from inlet and passing through channels and at cutting edge absorb heat and move through outlet. My question is why the temperature of fluid is decreasing till it reaches the outlet ???
To my knowledge, the fluid after passing near from the cutting edge should not decrease in temperature, if it decrease then it cannot decrease so much to get turned into cool water. Also, the outlet pressure results are decreasing near outlet, what could be the reason ? Because of this, I am unable to calculate proper pressure drop results, since the fluid velocity is totally reduced to the lowest value ???

Any solution for this ? It will be a great help.

Regards
Nadeem

More probably your boundary conditions!
If you don't know or not sure that what should be the temp./pre./vel. at the outlet then you need to lengthen the domain to reach the location that you know the parameters at that location.
