Hello everyone,

I need to carry out a simple exercise in fluent, which I have been using for years now, in the field of hypersonic aerodynamics, but unfortunately I cannot find a tutorial or help that can satisfy me.
Could anyone help me?

Thank in Advance

You should list the requirements that need to be satisfied if you want any help.

Hi Lucky,

thank you so much for answering me.
Therefore, I need to understand how to correctly write the phenomenon of aerodynamic heating and therefore understand the thermal effects.
As you know, if the temperature is high enough you can trigger chemical reactions, especially species molecular elements present in the air can dissociate.

Example:
Speed: Mach 10
Altitude: 10 km

I would simply like an exercise that illustrates how to proceed and what to write about fluent to take into account the dissociation.
For all the rest I can do very well on fluent.

Thanks in Advance

It's simple. All you need to do is use the appropriate equation of state. That is, provide polynomials or tables for the properties that are valid up to that range.

Many Thanks Lucky.

Do any of you have a simple example to use or some link to calculate them?
