Hi All,
For most of my simulations, I will be changing a lot of fluent default parameters like pressure unit from pascal to psi, solution backup interval from 0 to 500, iterations to store to 5000, etc. How can I change these settings permanently so that every time I launch the fluent it will load with the modified setting.

I heard that there is an option to edit a fluent.bat file to change the default settings but I am unable to find the details about that.

You don't need to run it automatically, although you could.

When you launch Fluent, you can set it to run your journal. Or you can manually run it it (by just typing file/read-journal), or it's just 3 button clicks in the GUI.

It's just the standard practice that everyone (that wants this level of control) has a journal file and runs it at some point.

journal file could be run automatically, however, I don't remember how to do this

as far as I remember, some folder should be created in working directory with special name
that folder should contain your journal file with special filename extension
