Hi All,
I appreciate any input since my search online didn't go anywhere! I 'm running a transient flow using Fluent on a HPC. So I've been using the journal commands below: file read-case SYS-2.cas.gz file read-data SYS-2-00000.dat.gz solve dual-time-iterate 40000 85 file write-case SYS-2-1.cas file write-data SYS-2-00000-1.dat exit yes In my ANSYS Fluent setup, I had used Courant 0.9. Let's say at iteration 10000 the simulation has stopped and from error, I believe I need to control the time step by lowering the Courant no., now I'm trying to continue with a smaller courant number after 10000.dat file. has anyone got experience with this to how to proceed and what command perhaps I should add to the Journal file. Thanks |

find out what exactly you want
to get courant number you can use Code:
(rpgetvar 'pressure-coupled/courant-number)
