Hi,
until now, i´ve done durability and stiffness simulations, so CFD is new to me. Now i have to do a 2D simulation of a rectangular box with an internal round velocity inlet (see attached graphic). The pipe of the inlet can be ignored in the simulation. So if you look from the side in 2D, there is just an edge left for the inlet. So far so good. But in my opinion this problem could not be solved in 2D, because there are not uniform shapes in the depth, because of the rectangular form of the box. Or how should i set up this problem? Thanks a lot and greetings, Flow_Newbie |
