Hi all,
I am looking for a way to define the pressure drop over a porous medium in Fluent. Does anyone know where I can define this? Thanks in advance! Anne-Sophie |

The motivation behind modeling a porous domain using resistance coefficients is to study the flow and other, such as, thermal or species fields within a porous region at any given flow rate. If you directly want to impose the pressure drop, then porous domain modeling is not required. You may simply use porous jump condition.

Hi Vinerm,
Thanks for clearing that up! I will look in to the use of porous jump. Kind regards, Anne-Sophie |
