lami_nar is on a distinguished road
I would like to know about any option in Fluent with which i can get the boundary layer separation point for flow over an aerofoil.
Using just the velocity plot is very crude and does not show the exact position of boundary layer separation.

vinerm will become famous soon enough
The separation is defined by the point at which the velocity changes its direction. Hence, you are looking for a point where the first-order gradient is 0, implying, the location of 0 shear stress. Plot the wall shear stress over the airfoil and look for the point where the value is 0.
