Hello guys in my simulation i need to simulate the wind turbine at different TSRs an i do that in one calculation for example an interface can defined as 3-5-7-9 m/s for one calculation

Is there a question coming or are you asking if you can simulate all speeds within single simulation?

You can setup one case with one speed. Then use journal to run it, save it, modify the speed, and repeat the cycle.

I think vinerm means that you can make a macro for FLUENT( It is journal file in FLUENT) to run your case, save it, modify the speed and run it again ...etc.
Also you can study with parameters and retain data. |

Simulation completion time depends on your mesh number, cpu power etc... Two approaches for simulation will be approximately same if all cases are the same.
However, As I know; in journal file approach you can see well how your simulation(residuals, converge values etc...) is going so you can interact with FLUENT but in workbench parameters you can not see anything unless your iteration number/convergence criteria finishes. |

Parameters and Journal

Using parameters in WB, you can run multiple cases and extract scalar results. However, you won't be able to save all the case files. Therefore, I suggested to use journal. You can use a Scheme loop and that will make the journal smaller. E.g., the following loop will run 10 cases by modifying only the wall heat flux while keeping every other parameter same. To save time, you can initialize every case from second case onward from the existing solution. That's what the following loop does
(do ((i 50 (+ i 10)))((> i 150)) (ti-menu-load-string (format #f "define bc wall bottom 0 no 0 no no no ~a no no no no 0 no 0.5 no 1" i)) (ti-menu-load-string (format #f "file write-case-data basename~a.cas.gz" i)) ) You can either directly type whole of it in Fluent and press Enter or copy it in a text file, save it with a certain name, and then load it using File > Read Scheme. Do note that you have to replace the command within " " as per your requirement. Similarly, you may want to change multiple conditions in every case. Then you have to execute multiple commands, just like there are two ti-menu... commands being executed each time. You can have as many commands as many you need.
