Hi,
I'm now using command lines to build a fluent case with Fluent 18.2. With TUI, if I want to orient the profile, I can simply click Cell Zone Conditions→Profiles→Orient, and everything will be done (this is true for both ver 18.2 and ver 2019R). However, this time I have to use command lines to realize this function. In Fluent 2019R, the command line is easy to find, after reading a profile, input define/profiles/orient-profile in Console and you can translate or rotate the profile. But in Fluent 18.2, there's no orient options in define/profiles. I'm confused and could not get help from ANSYS Fluent Text Command List. Does anyone know anything about this problem? Thanks for any reply! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The reason why I use command lines insteady of TUI is indicated in this thread: Fluent reads a large csv profile (over 2G) Since the size of profile is too large, Fluent seems not able to read it locally with my PC, thus I have to use a Supercomputer and the Fluent version installed in the Supercomputer is Fluent 18.2. |

Since the problem is still unsolved, I reviewed my thread and find out that I have made a mistake. I would like to orient the profile through 'TUI', and the 'TUI' above is actually 'GUI'.
