Hi, I'm simulating a transient flow with heat transfer. There is conduction, convection and radiation. I'd like to check heat balance. As far as I know, Report/Flux/total Heat Transfer Rate gives total heat transfer including radiation through a boundary. Also, a graph of this vs time can be generated in CFD post.
My question is: how does the post processor of Fluent calculate radiation heat flux? Is it with the assumption that the surrounding is at the "Operating Temperature"? In other words, is that the actual heat flux?
