Hey there all you awesome Fluent Super Users,
I am doing transient simulations of forces on bluff bodies. Is there a way I can obtain from the run an RMS value of the fluctuating force? I know there is a way to do time averaging of certain values but not sure of how I would go about setting it up for a force monitor? Do I need to code a UDF? (running 2020R2). ------OR------- for the level of effort do I just do the RMS in excel? Cheers ![]() |

Unless you really really need this on-the-fly, RMS in excel is the way to go.
