Ames is on a distinguished road
Hi all,

I am working on a project in which I connect a 1D model in Python with a 3D model in Ansys Fluent. The 3D model is used to update an element in the 1d model. I set up this coupling in python by using Fluent aaS on my own laptop with Windows OS. I followed the instruction in this forum, but instead of the actxserver in Matlab I used the pywin32 package in Python to connect.
looking for a smart interface matlab fluent

Now I want to start running these simulations on a server, as the computations are taking too long on my own laptop. The server has a linux OS. I know how to launch Fluent as a server on linux via the command fluent -aas. However, pywin32 is a Windows-only application as it uses COM objects. I cannot find anything that could get my models to work on a linux OS.

Therefore I was wondering if anyone has any experience with setting up Python/Matlab as a client on LINUX for the Fluent aaS?

Thanks in advance!
