AeroSapiens is on a distinguished road
Hello! I'm new to Ansys and I'm currently simulating a solid propellant rocket engine, in 2D and Axisymmetric. I'm doing a first, very basic simulation, using air as my fluid, and aluminum as the solid's material.
My issue is that I want to try this: when establishing the boundary conditions, I want to apply a velocity inlet boundary condition at the walls where the propellant is being consumed (I'm doing so using a UDF to implement Vielle's Law, which will calculate the velocity in the face, reading the density and pressure).
But I wonder if there's a way to force Ansys to treat that as a wall, even though I'm putting the velocity inlet. I want to do this to recollect information regarding near-wall turbulence and how ansys deals with it through its different turbulence models. Can this be done with a UDF? I've been looking into it and I'm pretty lost...

Any recommendations will be very much appreciated.

Thank you!
