Robben Cheung is on a distinguished road
Hi everyone,

I am a beginner in cfd modelling.

I have a manhole and a pipe connect to it. I make velocity inlet for the pipe and the magnitude is 3m/s. The distance between the inlet to the manhole is 10m. It should take about 3.3s for the water flows from inlet to manhole.

My time step size is set to 1s.

However, in the results, it takes 20 time steps for the water flows from inlet to manhole, which is 20s.

What mistakes I make? Or any misunderstanding on time step or hydraulics in my knowledge.

Thanks for help
