Hello,
We could use 6-DOF method to easily dealing the motion of the floating object in simulating flow field.
Now, I want to consider mooring systems by keeping them in postion and get flow feild variables in detail.
To my knowledge, like FLOW-3D is even capable to model breaking mooring lines. Furthermore, opensource code also can do that like openfoam, SPH, etc.

In sum, my question and idea are:
1. Is possible to coupled AQWA and Fluent to achieve this?
My idea is that the flow feild we solve in fluent at each timestep (force on floating objects) is transfered to AQWA, and then calculate mooring systems and get the motion of object in AQWA. Finally, Transfer this new motion to renew the boundary of object in fluent to calculate next timestep.
My question in this way is how about the effect of dynamic motion of cables in fluent?

2. Is possible to add some general equations to describe the several segments of cables representating mooring systems directly in fluent?

Hope somebody who is expert in this region or have some experience can give my some advice, direction or even reference to me

Thanks everyone in here to read my question!
