Hi
I have been reading some literature by Spalart, Rumsey, and others who developed the CFD codes. They talk about the importance of having sustaining terms in the SST k-w model to prevent decay of turbulence and reducing the grid dependence on transition behaviour. In my own Fluent simulations, I do not see a drop in the value of TKE and omega from the inlet to the wing. I have a distance of approximately 50 chord lengths from the inlet to the leading edge.

did you turn on intermittency transition model?
you may also try to use Transition SST model (4equtions)
