Hi all,
I am simulating a pair of contra-rotating propeller using single-passage domain. First I did the calculation using steady pressure-based coupled solver with moving reference frame (MRF) and mixing plane interface. Then I switched it to transient case and changed to moving mesh zones, but this time the calculation broke immediately and Fluent said this: Node 1: Process 9092: Received signal SIGSEGV. No matter I tried the interface with periodic repeats, pitch change, or no pitch change types, there was just no change, i.e., still breaking immediately. It seems that Fluent does not allow two mesh motion zones together. If I tried one moving mesh zone and one MRF zone, things would go well and the calculation could proceed. Does anyone know the reason for this and how to solve it? Any help from you would be highy appreciated. Many thanks, Nathan Last edited by Saintree; February 9, 2022 at 23:38. Reason: typo |
