I am working to simulate a Pulsating Heat Pipe. It has three sections: evaporator, adiabatic section, condenser. The papers that I am referring to have claimed to have first achieved random distribution of liquid slugs and vapor plugs by giving a constant property boundary conditions to all the sections. Once the distribution is achieved, after that heat flux is given at the evaporator section. But I am not able to get random distribution of liquid slugs and vapor plugs, by doing so.
if anyone has any idea regarding the same, please help.
