To whom it may concern,
I am trying to run many simulation runs on the University's high performance computer cluster (HPCC) In Ansys, the simulation file would be completed until reaching the solution and computational step. I would then make one run and check the results. One of my colleagues helped me setup up a remote connection to the university's HPCC by downloading Putty, WinSCP and Xming. My colleague worked on Matlab, where they would have the input/simulation file ready and then use a batch code to log a job onto the HPCC. They checked if the same can be done for Ansys Fluent 2022 version. However, they could not find the command prompts similar to Matlab on the command interface using the Anshelp or Ans --help prompts. Do you have any tutorials or guidelines to log a job to a HPCC? Alternativley, some sources suggest that jobs can be submitted via Ansys fluent itself from the ANSYS Remote Solve Manager. If you have tutorials or links to useful material for either approach then kindly share. Best regards, Cap10 |
