Hi,
I am simulating a 2D sliding mesh of a rushton turbine in a baffled mixing tank. I have ran the transient simulation until it reached a steady state, and now I am looking to measure mixing time by introducing a dye liquid (water-liquid properties to the tank and measuring it's dispersion over time. I know the first step is to disable the energy and turbulence equations. I have tried to follow https://www.eureka.im/5375.html this guide, but however the instructions feel conflicting and I'm unsure of if I am introducing a multiphase flow mixture, or if I am just introducing a species transport model. Additionally, after making probes there wasn't a selectable option to measure tracer species mass fraction, which i imagine is because I haven't implemented the new species correctly. I have made a previous post, however if I could get some step by step guidance it'd greatly appeciated. Kind regards, Joe |
