Dear all,
I am giving pressure at inlet & velocity at outlet boundary conditions. When i see the reports the results i get for total pressure(area weighted average) are: at inlet 52.17 Pa at outlet -1812 Pa But when i see in the contour plot the values it is showing like from 87 Pa to -1812 Pa (major area) &-3120 Pa(At some small arears). Forget about the outlet pressure because it is showing correctly that most of the arears with -1812 Pa. But at inlet i am giving the inlet pressure as 52.17 Pa so, why it is showing 87 Pa at the inlet areas. Thanks & Regards, Praveen |

what kind of contour plot are you using for your comparison (static?, total?)
I would use velocity inlet and pressure outlet as BC
