Hello All, I am trying to run a automotive engine coolant flow analysis. I do not have any real data on the mass flow rate at the inlet. Can any of you out there tell me, an approximate value to use for my flow analysis.. I am guessing it to be around 2Kg/s.
Thanks for your help Frank |

About 2.5kg/s for a 4 cylinder engine should be ok.

I would also add that you would need to define your job matrix. It will help narrow your choices! FR will depend not only on the engine size, but on the RPM.
