Default compatibity LES with DPM

Dear CFD community

I want to use the DPM model in conjuction with the LES model, where the discrete phase it is not couple with the the continuous phase.

I have not found any limitation to use the DPM in conjunction with the LES. In addition, Fluent user's manual DPM section made some sporadic comment about the DPM integral time and velocity fluctuation when the continuous phase is predicted with LES.

However, Appendix A. Fluent model compatibility chart indicate that the two models are not compatible.

As a result, I want to know if someone has working with these two models, and their potential setback in Fluent 6.1

Regards

Alex Munoz
