Do you know if in VOF model the phases are separated out due to gravity? For example if i have a mixture of oil and water for some time in a tank, are they going to be separated?

I think if you include gravity and enable body force. If you are patient and luck enough(unsteady modelling for a enough time), maybe you can obtained convergence and wanted results.
