Hi,
I'm am having trouble getting the UDF DEFINE_GEOM to work properly. I would like to use the UDF to make a flat plate deform into a different shape over time. I have compiled the UDF properly and have hooked it into fluent as outlined in the UDF user's manual. However, when I view the mesh motion the flat plate does not deform and I believe that my UDF is not even being read (I inserted an "error" message to check and see if the UDF was functioning, and the error never came up). I'm using WinXP and Fluent 6.1.18. If anyone knows what the problem may be please respond. Also if anyone has a DEFINE_GEOM UDF that has worked, I would like to see it. I can share my UDF if necessary. Thanks, Pat |
