I'm working on effect of distance on Natural convection between horizontal plates that are open ended and heated from below. My discussion is how fluent calculates the nusselt number and its correlation? which equations it is using? and how it calculates the heat transfer coefficient(h)? I'll be looking for your help. you can e-mail me

Fluent uses for heat transfer:

h = q''/(T-Tref)

Tref : user specified; q'' and T: fluent calculated

More information, you can get from documentation.
